Mercedes-Benz USA apparently overlooks Firefox running on Linux (you must be running Linux and Firefox with any version of Flash to see what I mean).

Almost one month ago I Emailed their web administrator about the problem:

Good Evening,

I’m contact you regarding an issue I’m encountering while trying to
access msusa.com, please forward this to web development. The flash
site loads to 100% via a progress bar, but gets stuck at 100%
progress. I have included a link to a screenshot below. Here are my
specs: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1)
Gecko/2008071719 Firefox/3.0.1. I’ve also tried using Firefox 2.0.0.15
on the same Operating System. I’ve tried using Adobe Flash Player
version 9.0.124.0 and 10.0.1.218+10.0.0.525 on either Firefox version.
I hope all of this information helps. I’m sure I can’t be the only on
experiencing the problem on Linux. Is there a non-Flash URL that I can
use to access the site while this problem exists. If you need any
additional information, feel free to contact me.

Thank you very much for your input. We have verified that the mbusa.com website does appear to have issues on Linux machines. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, there is no ‘non-flash’ URL at this time.

Can you attach the screenshot of mbusa.com where it says loading… I may like to help you out after looking at it. I haven’t seen the site on Linux. It is kind of interesting.

I’ve attached another screenshot, this one taken on my personal Linux
machine and the specs are Firefox 3 with Flash 10. In this Firefox
installation I have Adblock Plus and Firebug, but both are disabled
for the test.
